About me
I am an anthropologist and the Director of Research at the Dangerous Speech Project, where my work is deeply rooted in my commitment to building strong, resilient communities. I focus on understanding how dangerous speech can incite violence and harm, and I strive to combine rigorous research with practical, community-centered solutions. I’m passionate about exploring how communication—both online and offline—shapes social dynamics and impacts vulnerable groups. In my role, I collaborate with scholars, global civil society organizations, tech platforms, and policy makers to develop and study interventions that not only prevent violence but also nurture inclusive, connected communities.
